Text Description: 1/2 m variable yell, red, bn "diamiction"- looking yellow pumice in soft fines matrix. | 2m internally bedded yell-pumice unit. Red "sponge" at bottom. Near center, 1/2m resembles salt-and-pepper. Fines to sand beds at top. Beds 10-50cm thick, very regular. | 4-5cm fine grey ash (75%gl) ; Samp B (69%gl) | 4-5m exposed of pumice-block ash deposit. Slightly coherent, no fines. Largest clasts ~30cm. Possibly top 1m slightly finer than rest- Samp A.
