Four samples from two different lava flows that crop out in the same stream channel: 17JFLPV018A represents the dense core of a lichen and moss covered lava flow. Contains visible plagioclase and pyroxene phenocrysts in the hand sample. The samples are variably red and oxidized and contain plagioclase phenocrysts
