| Text Description: | Hand sample; >20g. Dense, reddish-oxidized cpx-bearing lava flow that forms southernmost of 3 rocky points on lower NW flank. Probably same as WES019. Dense lava. 50% purplish gray. Broadly similar to other lavas in this unit. Persistent discoloration of groundmass in shades of purple and orange. |
