| Text Description: | Sample from west-southwest flank. Sparsely porphyritic dacite. Phenocrysts of plagioclase (5%, to 2.8 x 0.5 mm), and clinopyroxene, and orthopyroxene (each <2%, 0.6 mm) in a felted microcrystalline groundmass. Plagioclase phenocrysts are free of dusty or inclusion-rich zones. |
