Text Description: Sample from same flow lobe as 91CND08. Upper part of this flow is a few to several feet higher than adjacent Spotted Glacier, thus has been beheaded by glacial erosion. Surface of flow is glacially polished and rounded. Porphyritic andesite. About 50% phenocrysts and microphenocrysts of plagioclase (up to 0.8 x 0.4 mm) and pyroxene (0.7 x 0.3 mm) with a microlite-rich brown glassy groundmass.
