Text Description: Another sample of same lava flow as 91CND15. Porphyritic olivine andesite containing ~20% phenocrysts of olivine (15%, up to 1.0 x 0.5 mm), plagioclase (3%, 0.7 x 0.3 mm), and pyroxene (2%, 0.4 x 0.2mm) in a matrix dominated by interlocking plagioclase microlites (200 x 15 microns) and pyroxene (20 microns). Olivine phenocrysts contain euhedral translucent brown chromite octahedral.
