Text Description: Ice contact lava. 20—50 cm wide columns, curved and in rosettes. Porphyritic olivine-bearing two-pyroxene andesite. ~40% phenocrysts of plagioclase (1.1 x 0.4 mm), pyroxene (1.2 x 0.4 mm), olivine (0.7 x 0.5 mm), and opaque Fe-Ti oxides in a matrix of devitrified glass and subordinate microphenocrysts and microlites. Pl:px:ol ~ 3:2:0.5.
