Text Description: Glaciated lava flow just west of Spotted Glacier. Porphyritic two-pyroxene dacite with ~40% phenocrysts of plagioclase (up to 1.1 x 0.5 mm, but typically smaller), pyroxene (typically 0.7 x 0.4 mm), and opaque Fe-Ti oxides in a matrix of devitrified glass and subordinate microphenocrysts and microlites. Pl:px ~ 3:2.
