Text Description: Sample from 0.6 x 1.4 km outcrop surrounded by upper striped glacier ice. Porphyritic olivine-bearing two-pyroxene dacite. Phenocrysts of plagioclase (25%, up to 1.4 x 0.6 mm), both clino- and orthopyroxene (10%, up to 0.9 x 0.3 mm), and euhedral, chromite-bearing olivine (3%, up to 0.6 x 0.3 mm) in a matrix of devitrified glass and subordinate microphenocrysts and microlites.
