Text Description: Sample from small outcrop at `1300 ft elevation at western striped glacier margin. Porphyritic dacite. Phenocrysts of plagioclase (35 %, up to 1.8 x 0.9 mm) and pyroxene (5%, typically stubby prisms 0.1 mm in diameter), glomerocrysts of plagioclase and pyroxene (10%, up to 1.5 mm in diameter) in a groundmass of devitrified glass.
