| Text Description: | This sample was collected from the rim of a small flank cone near the coast. It was a quick grab sample while the heli was still running. It is comprised of bomb sized fragments. Volcanic ash and lapilli. Dan collects three bags of scoria off the surface rim as the rotors run. One bag goes to AVO. |
