Alaska Volcano Observatory

Uppermost tephra at this section, occurs 2 m below the terrace surface. Glass in the form of pumice with rare blocky grains. Essential minerals: plagioclase, orthopyroxene, green amphibole, and Fe-Ti oxides. Accessory minerals: basaltic hornblede and zircon.
