The composition reported here is the average of analyses of two samples: UT1280 and UT1281. Occurs at elevations of 1-2 m above water level at west and east limits of Palisades East, but ~14 m above water level in the central bluff area. Occurs stratigraphically below the lower peat and is laterally more traceable than PA tephra samples. |
