Text Description: The tephra is found within a cryoturbated organic-rich silt and peat. Large detrital logs with ringporous anatomy were collected above the tephra sample. Overlying the APt tephra is six m of silt and than a ~10 cm thick bed of angular pebbels, granules, and oxidized silt that Jensen and others (2013) interpret as an unconformity. Three m above the unformity is the the Sheep Creek-F tephra.
