Text Description: 0.5 to 1 cm thick; brown to light yellow pumice and blocky grains with feldspar, Fe-Ti oxides and a green amphibole; within colluviated aeolian silt; on strath 18 m above Sixtymile River; 2 cm above top of bench gravel; field name JJO234. Westgate and others (2011) revise the stratigraphy of the section that this sample was collected from and note that sample UT1790 is located stratigraphically below the Gold Run tephra (UT1791) at this section.
