Text Description: Tephra in silty sediments interstratified with poorly sorted gravels resting on a terrace (Archibald's Bench). No data on thickness; sample from individual ash pod. Dark-brown, andesitic glass predominates in Archibald tephra, but rare, colourless bubble-wall shards of a more silicic composition are present.
