Text Description: Pods of an orange, rhyolitic tephra, with a maximum thickness of 3 cm. Occurs interbedded with soliflucted tan (2.5Y6/3) silt with oxidation streaks. Mottled orange and white (7.5YR8/4), and it appears the orange color is secondary. Wisps of silt occur within the pods. Lower and upper contacts sharp to wispy. Vertical repetition indicates solifluction. Positioned just below the Ester Interval unconformity at trench 2 (Gold_Hill_II station). Sample not analyzed by Preece (1991) due to small sample size.
