Text Description: 0.5 cm thick; pumice with rare blocky grains. Plagioclase, orthopyroxene, green amphibole, and Fe-Ti oxides as well as accessory minerals of basaltic hornblende and zircon.Occurs in sand and silt on strath 18 m above the Sixtymile River, 417 cm above top of bench gravel. Field name JJO244. Westgate and others (2011) revise the stratigraphy of the section that this sample was collected from and note that the sample UT1792 is located stratigraphically above Gold Run tephra (UT1791) at this section.
