Text Description: Maximum thickness of 3 cm; Tephra bed occurs as small, en echelon pods in 0.3 m of finely bedded clay and silt. This unit is overlain by 0.1 m of fine sand and silt, which is overlain by 0.7 m of layered reddish-brown and black silt. From Preece et al. (2011): rare blocky shards, and rare bubble-wall shards.
