Text Description: From Preece et al. (2000): no data on deposit thickness. Tephra pods are in a 0.6 m thick unit composed of distorted sand and gravel. Samples taken from separate tephra pods. UT1455 is about 30 cm above UT1054. Overlying the tephra beds are interbedded gravel and sand. From Preece et al. (2011): n.d. on deposit thickness; pumice; in Upper White Channel Gravel; repeats vertically; UT1455 ∼30 cm above UT1054
