Text Description: Maximum thickness of 3 cm. In muck with isolated cobbles of White Channel gravels overlying columnar jointed lavas. Tephra bed is a few centimetres above the lavas. Overlying the tephra bed is at least 10 m of muck containing mammal fossils. Field name MWM5.
