Text Description: 97EC6D and 97EC6E are samples of the same ash deposit with multiple components (see Carson 1998 page 62). 3 cm of reddish yellow sand and coarse silt. Underlying D was 35 cm of mixed pumiceous sand and mineral crystals. The bottom of the section was coarse grey sand and cobbles, interpreted as Late Wisconsin diamicton.
