| Text Description: | Outcrop 97EC3 had 25 cm of humus and organics at the surface, underlain by 20 to 22 cm of fibrous peat. Sample A was 2 cm of very dark grey silt, and sample B was 3 cm of light grey clay. Neither sample contained vitreous material, although B contained 1- to 2-mm quartz and other mineral crystals. |
