Text Description: From Dochat (1997): Lake or estuarine sediments containing dropstones up to 9 cm in diameter crop out above the stratified gravel. Fine silty sediment drapes over the clasts. Clasts lithologies include petrified wood, volcaniclastics, and granodiorite. A 6 cm thick layer of pumice in a clay-rich matrix overlies the lake/estuarine sediments. This layer is overlain by 6 cm of clay. A horizon of 8 cm of silt and clay overlies the clay and is overlain by a 3 cm thick exposure of the black scoria horizon of the Fisher Caldera ash. Clay and silty clay horizons crop out above the ash, 437 cm. Unclear which unit sample correlates to, as no sample descriptions are provided.
