Cream-coloured tephra pods up to 1.5 cm thick are contained in a small, discontinuous, retransported organic silt of unit 9 on the north wall of the pit. Microphenocryst-rich, highly vesicular, white pumice with biotite, bimodal composition of glass shards. |
