Text Description: Few cm above the HH tephra (UT825 and UT826) at this location. Slightly mottled tephra that is creamy-pink (10YR7/2) and interbedded with grey (2.5Y6/2), compact silt with oxidized bands and nodules. Deformed into pods, some which are 10 cm thick, and repeats vertically, undoubtedly due to solifluction. Lower contact is sharp and interfingering (shearing?), whereas the upper contact is diffuse. Lenses of loess incorporated into the tephra, local oxidation present.
