Text Description: Few cm above the HH tephra (UT825 and UT826) at this location. Cream-pink ash that is discontinuous and occurs as connected pods with a maximum thickness of 0.5 cm, interbedded with brown (2.5Y6/3), massive silt with many oxidation nodules. Sharp, undulating lower contact and distinct upper contact that is more diffuse. No crystals visible. Repetition in the sequence is undoubtedly due to solifluction. Unconformity with the Goldstream Formation immediately above the tephra.
