Text Description: Overlies UT738 tephra; occurs as laminated pods positioned adjacent to an ice-wedge cast. Deformed in most places with a maximum extent of 73 cm wide and 12 cm thick. Pods occur over a 27-44 cm vertical zone and have very sharp, subhorizontal basal contacts with the underlying silt with occaisional shearing. Upper contacts more regular and diffuse with shearing. In some places, occurs intercalated with a fine white tephra that is 1 to 3 mm thick.
