Text Description: Varies in thickness from 10 to 18 cm. Basal layer has a sharp contact with the loess, is cross-bedded with intermingling ash and loess. The middle layer and top layer are massive. The upper contact with the loess is sharp, although there are some reworked pods. Occurs within massive, grey-green silt.
