Text Description: 1-cm-thick tephra that has a basal white bed and darker upper bed, with a distinct color contact between the two. Occurs as pods that have been microfaulted within massive grey silt (5Y6/2) with small oxidation blebs. Sharp, irregular lower contact and a diffuse upper contact; crops out about 30 cm above UT816 and UT817. Average color is 10YR7/1, the tephra is oxidized.
