| Text Description: | Same as CNO01-11. High grade scoria clasts from primary surge sequence (bulk sampled CNO01-11) just beneath B tephra fall, exposed at top of folded sed sequence just inside Gates. Could B early B juvenile material. Total thickness of primary pyroclastic sequence highly variable, several to perhaps 7-8 m. Basal units appear water-laid. Sits atop good varved lake clays. |
