| Text Description: | Basaltic andesite lapilli from Akutan tephra unit, southwest of Akutan Harbor Clast size 2-4 cm. Phenocrysts of plagioclase, clinopyroxene, orthopyroxene, and trace olivine. Map unit Qtu (Richter et al., 1998). Yielded clinopyroxene-, orthopyroxene-, and plagioclase-hosted melt inclusions. |
