Description: From Miller and others (1998): "Based on recent observations from aircraft, however, Pogromni does not appear to have been active in historical time. The eruptions should probably be assigned to Westdahl."
Jones (1952) reports that an officer of one of the TAKL ships reported that Pogromni volcano was not active on July 2, but it was smoking on July 5 to 7.
