Current Volcano Alert Level: ADVISORY
Current Aviation Color Code: YELLOW

No signs of volcanic activity were seen in seismic data, infrasound data, or in clear cloudy satellite views over the past day. Local observers report steaming from the summit crater yesterday afternoon. Steaming is not unusual at Korovin and meteorological conditions can enhance the visibility of these emissions.

Korovin is monitored by local seismic and infrasound sensors, satellite data, and regional lightning detection instruments.
