True color Ikonos satellite image of the summit crater of Korovin Volcano. This image was collected on July 4, 2004 and shows a grey-colored deposit of volcanic ash extending 1 km to the east of the crater. A small lake is frequently observed in the summit crater and flowage features in the deposit suggest that event that produced the ash deposit contained abundant water.
