A further zoomed in photo of the undated pyroclastic deposit near the southern edge of the newly formed volcaniclastic debris flow fan deposit from the 2001 eruption. Geologic hammer for scale. The coarse-grained lapilli that are possibly welded together are observed with the larger clasts that were entrained within the pyroclastic flow.
