DESCRIPTION
Devonian and Silurian sedimentary packages on Suemez Island are overlain by Quaternary rhyolite and trachyte vents, domes, and flows. Many of the vents are located close to Cape Felix, on the southwest portion of Suemez Island. (Kate Bull, personal communication, 2009).
