Description: Over the past day (May 15, 2019) low-frequency seismic tremor has been observed at Pavlof and web camera observations from this morning showed a vigorous steam plume from the summit. This represents an increase from background activity and AVO raised the Aviation Color Code and Alert Level to YELLOW/ADVISORY on May 15, 2019. AVO lowered the Aviation Color Code and Volcano Alert Level back to GREEN/NORMAL on June 12, 2019, citing a decline in seismicity, back to background levels.
