From Hopkins (1963): "The name Lost Jim lava flow is proposed for the youngest lava flow in the Imuruk Lake area-a large pahoehoe lava flow, virtually undisturbed by frost riving, that extends from its source at Lost Jim Cone northward to the shore of Imuruk Lake, westward to the shore of Lava Lake, and southwestward to the Kuzitrin River (pl. 1, fig. 15 [in original text])."
