Description: Grewingk (1850, translated 2003 by Fritz Jaensch) reported that Ingenstrom reported Great Sitkin as "covered with snow and smoking (?)" in 1829. Other, more recent compilations list this event as possibly starting in 1828, or a separate event occurring in 1828.
