Eruption Type:Not an eruption.

Description: From Russell (1910): "A slender cloud of steam ascended from the summit of the volcano, which seems to have been built up by eruptions of lapilli and dust since the explosion that rent it asunder."

Waitt and Beget (2009) believe this smoke was a lingering effect of the still-hot 1883 dome.
