Text Description:
Rubble near the creek at the base of the west side of Mt. Gordon. Inaccessible outcrop on the other side of the creek is assumed to be equivalent, and exhibits vertical columnar jointing. Hand sample is black and glassy with 5-7% 1-2 mm plagioclase phenocrysts.
