Text Description:
Flow 75-100' thick on the northeast side of East Cone exhibits columnar jointing. Hand sample contains 1-2% 1-2 mm acicular plagioclase phenocrysts and 5-7% 1-2 mm olivine phenocrysts in a glassy black groundmass.
