Text Description: Approximately 50' thick dipping flow (N45W, 42SW) overlying? 94SJP5 at Site 12. Fine grained, holocrystalline, seriate porphyritic with a matrix of mesostasis, opaque, clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene. Plagioclase phenocrysts (An36-An61) are up to 0.9 mm and many have fine mica along cracks, some display normal zoning. Orthopyroxene phenocrysts are uncommon and up to 0.13 mm.
