Text Description: Bench here was certainly a beach at one time, likely for quite a while. Rounded cobbles of vesicular, very plag rich lava are ~6-8 cm diameter and are blanketing the surface. Up hill to W., F. Tuff is wrapping around the side of the hill and the caldera-side is pillow lavas. Black vesicular, very plag rich pillow lava from S. Wall References: ![]() |
