Text Description: Lava ramps up on the N side of the hill a bit, but no stratigraphy |b| lava and capping maar. Mar has a coarse breccia at base w/ large (8cm) "juvenile" clasts. At top, it is very lapilli rich and also shows cross-bedding. It is possible that maar surge overran this hill (ld cinder cone?) and valley fill is covered by younger lava flow. ??? Maar stuff seems to have 3 layers, 1.5 m fine , laminated, lapilli rich, cross bedded at top, 3.0 m coarser breccia, larger clasts, greyish color, then 1.5 m of coarse basal breccia (tan colored) at base.
