Text Description: At top of hill. Ridge is capped by thick (~30m?) of ash flow. Deposit is very poorly sorted with up to fist-sized blocks. Upsection matrix gets more compact and denser. Some clasts seem highly vesicular, andesitic. Higher in deposit these clasts are compacted away. Lower portion of ignimbrite. Parts of 1 large clast, matrix. Bulk sample References: ![]() |
