Text Description:
Porphyritic hornblende dacite. Phenocrysts of normal and oscillatory-zoned plagioclase (26%), hornblende (4%), orthopyroxene (0.7%), clinopyroxene (0.5%), biotite (0.5%), and metallics (2.2%) in a fine-grained felsic groundmass (74%). Scarce olivine; less than 2% vesicles.
