Text Description:
inclusion from sample 81ARj 13. Porphyritic hornblende-biotite dacite. Vesicular, flow-foliated glassy groundmass contains rounded phenocrysts of plagioclase and quartz. Dominant mafic is dark-green hornblende, abundant biotite after hornblende, and no orthopyroxene as compared to sample 81ARj 13. Plagioclase is albite twinned and has rare Carlsbad twins.
