Text Description:
Porphyritic hornblende-biotite dacite. Flow-foliated glassy groundmass contains rounded phenocrysts of plagioclase and quartz. Dominant mafic is dark-green hornblende, lesser biotite, and sparse orthopyroxene. Plagioclase (An 54) is generally Carlsbad twinned, but has rare albite twins.
